Job Description:
Xenith seeks a Systems Administrator to support DLA as the primary technical support role for one or more applications. Works closely with server administrators and database administrators, but maintains a level of separation, to facilitate segregation of duties. Installs, configures, and maintains of all software products utilized by the application. This includes, but is not limited to, the installation/upgrade of software versions, installation of software patches, support for data center migrations, identifying application specific firewall/network requirements, setup/administration of interfaces & APIs, technical support for break/fix incidents, and support of application requirements being driven by organizational transformation initiatives.
Responsible for both pre-production & production environments and directly supports the application’s code release process. Leads in implementing any applicable application-based Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), to include providing any required STIG/SRG output in support of the program. Researches and implements resolution of cybersecurity vulnerabilities discovered because of routine scanning.

Responsibilities:
  • SharePoint Administration:
    • Manage site collections, permissions, libraries, modern pages, and web parts.
    • Configure Hub and Associate Site architecture, ensure site security, and enforce naming/branding standards.
    • Implement and maintain secure APIs that enable low-code/no-code development, connecting SharePoint and external data sources for improved collaboration and data access.
  • Power Platform Development:
    • Develop and maintain automated business processes, dashboards, and custom applications hosted on SharePoint using PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate. JSON will be used to customize list views and forms.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure development conforms to DLA’s PII, access control, and data protection standards.
    • Ensure Power Platform solutions are hardened against vulnerabilities and aligned with RMF and 8570/8140 policy requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Years of Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • Education: BS, BA, or four (4) additional years of related experience
  • Technology Experience:
    • M365 Power Platform, including:
      • Power Automate
      • PowerApps
      • Power BI
    • SharePoint Online:
      • Site object creation (Lists, Libraries, Web Parts)
      • SharePoint Online Site Collection Administration (permissions, settings, configuration, security)
      • Modern Site Configuration (Hub and Associated Sites)
      • Use of JSON for customizing SharePoint Lists and Forms
    • ServiceNow:
      • Report and dashboard deployment
      • Governance Risk and Compliance to ServiceNow (GRC-SNow) integration
    • M365 Low-Code / No-Code Development
      • Includes support for APIs to enable integration and automation
      • Support for business process modeling tools
  • Certifications:
    • Nationally Recognized Certification (examples)
      • Power BI Data Analyst Associate
      • Power Platform App Maker Associate   
      • Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
      • Microsoft 365 Developer Associate       

Preferred experience:
  • Experience supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or other Government Agencies.
  • Experience supporting Financial Systems
  • Tools and Techniques:
  • Visual Studio Code and Postman (for API and integration work)
  • JSON, OData, RESTful APIs for custom functionality
  • Azure Active Directory and SharePoint Admin Center for role/permission controls
